Thank you! The Open Garden and Brass Band event last Sunday was a tremendous success and gave us a much-needed shot in the arm (excuse the pun). A big thank you to everyone who helped to make the event such a delight, including all those who helped with the catering, setting up and knocking down, organising of the nature trail, and the wonderful brass band.
Why not join in the Psalmathon tomorrow through a spoken choir? All you need do is show up! One of the team will give you a prayer book and lead you through it. Plus, you don’t need to be on camera. Sign up for a spoken choir here.
Lifting of Covid restrictions. Guidance from the Church of England on the easing of Covid measures from Monday 19 July has only just been published. An email will follow next week with further details.

Find the full roll description here.

Could you be a duty warden at St Barnabas? The vicar and churchwardens are currently looking to recruit duty wardens to assist on Sunday mornings. This is a great way to get to know other people in the parish and to offer some help in the week-by-week running of the church. Duties will be arranged by rota, and so will occur every now and again. Tasks include: helping to open up church, distributing bulletins on seats, helping in registering attendees, checking rota personnel (such as readers and intercessor) have turned up, finding replacements if necessary, or in case of missing intercessor, telling clergy, and assisting welcome team if necessary. If you’d like some more information, please email email@example.com.
