HIGHLIGHTS

Donations for Bishop Pete's farewell. We are collecting donations on behalf of the parish for Bishop Pete's farewell gift. Bishop Pete has served as Bishop of Willesden for 20 years and worked extremely hard in the Diocese of London. If you'd like to make a donation, click here.

As many of you know, the pandemic has prevented us from admitting children to Holy Communion for some time. We would now like to consult with you about when it would be best to prepare and admit children age 7 and above to Communion. Please complete this very simple, 3-question survey to help give us a steer.

The Exploring Faith Course offers a gentle exploration of the inclusive, sacramental, and positive approach to Christianity we aim to foster at St Barnabas. It's particularly created for those who are exploring for the first time or after a significant break from church life. The course will take place on Zoom on Tuesday evenings at 8pm and starts 5 October. Click here to book on the next course.

Are you a local employer or want to help support others into new job opportunities? Ealing Citizens will be hosting a living wage Jobs Fair at St Anselm's church Monday 15 November, 6-9 pm. This is a joint initiative between the London Mayor's Office, Heathrow, and the Old Oak Common Development. The long-term goal of this campaign is to create 60,000 new job opportunities in West London. For more information, speak to Fr Justin or take a look at the leaflet here.

NOTICES

Prayers for the Appointment of the next Bishop of Willesden.
September: Appointment panel shortlist candidates

Heavenly Father,

Look with your mercy and favour upon your faithful people here in the Willesden Area.
Bless and guide those responsible for the appointment of our new Bishop,
Raise up someone of deep faith,
soaked in the Scriptures,
with a love for your people,
and a passion to reach those who don't know you.
We ask this in the knowledge that you have oversight of us all,
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Drop in for a coffee, conversation, and company. Our weekly Pop In has officially recommenced and meets Thursdays from 2:30-4 p.m. at the back of the church. All are welcome.
